You Can Build A Brand Around What You Are Passionate About
In this report I’m going to share with you the 7 Musts to “Crush It” Building Your Brand, but before I do my intention first is to explain why NOW is the time to do this.
In case you haven’t noticed…our world is on a whirlwind of change. The media game has CHANGED! Technology has changed, and the way we do business is changing.
Now with social media, you can build a brand around what you are passionate about for very little cost. However, there is one major cost… otherwise known as spending time and energy working on it. Building a personal brand takes time and will not happen overnight.
The Shift in Advertising Dollars . . .
Influential people in the world are looking at how advertising dollars are being spent and how buying decisions are made by the average consumer.
Advertisers spend money where the eyeballs are at, right? Statistical data shows that more and more eyeballs are hanging out on social media sites and blogs than ever before. People are hanging out more in front of their computers than they are on TV screens.
Most people won’t even admit to exactly how much time they spend in front of the computer screen. So, if you take the time to build your personal brand around a niche now, there are advertisers that will pay you to be in front of your audience and their audience as an affiliate member.
Affiliate marketing is only one of the many income streams that will be possible.

Social media is here to stay. Companies are noticing who in the world is playing in the playground of social media and what are their buying preferences. Will you be a player that swings and takes action.?
In this present economy, you have an excellent opportunity to position yourself to build your personal brand. Remember when computers came out most people didn’t understand or think they needed one. Then what happened with technology? As technology evolved everyone and their mother had to have the newest and improved version.
Now, that I’ve reminisced with you about the early years of computers, I want to share with you the 7 Musts to “Crush It” Building Your Brand. Some of the things I share will be very simple, but are necessary reminders to be ahead of your game and “crush it” when you are trying to get known.
Must #1- Be You
We have commonalities that we all share however, each person has a unique flavor to add to the recipe of life. Those commonalities vary in how a person thinks and acts, people want to feel as if they are being treated as individuals and their needs are being considered and acknowledged is a key component of the “sales process.” When you are being authentic in everything you do in business and in life you’ll bring the essence of who you are out into the spotlight of others, share your expertise, talents, and skills and SELL YOU without being salesy, pushy or fake.
In order to play with others in the playground of life you have to have certain character traits that draws people to you.
Think about it. You would not want to do business with a person that is grumpy, who fumbles with words to say, and would not have your interests at heart.
You have within you the most marketing tool around, SPEAKING!
You have the ability to shine into your own spotlight with a Signature Talk about your business in a heartfelt way that creates offers that sell.
People need and love to buy
Your ideal clients are BUYING YOU. When you have the confidence to “ASK” for business because you have clearly discussed the results your potential clients want and are looking for the conversation sells you and your programs and services effortlessly. If you’re acting like someone you’re not you will attract followers that you won’t want.
When you are being authentic with impeccable standards then you naturally shine your brilliance and you become attractable and acceptable to others, just as you are.
The irresistible conversation starts with you speaking about your brand, getting yourself out in front of others, and finding out what they’re attracted to. With this info you’ll know exactly how you should brand yourself and what you need to tweek.
But, before you can do any of this, you need to be clear about your message and create a “crush it” Signature Talk that sells.

So, you want to ask yourself… “What do I love”? “What is my passion”? What gives your heart a reason to keep beating. These questions are hard for most people because they’ve been doing things they hate for years just to please other people. If you begin to realize that every moment in your life happens for the greater good of who you are, totally acceptable that can really motivate you to create your unique pathway.
When you discover your purpose, that heart-centered spot you’ll be able to answer the question” How do I pass this on to inspire and encourage someone else?”
The story of YOU is the foundation for building your brand to popularity. The magic that is inside you comes alive with unstoppable power and the customers that are looking for you can’t help but to fall in love with your tell-it-like-it-is style.

Must #3- Be Committed
You cannot build a brand without being committed to your followers. It’s like trying to bake a bread without all the ingredients. The bread won’t rise, it will be hard and flat.
To build your brand out there in the marketplace people need to know who you are, where to find you, like you and trust you. A part of creating trust comes from being consistent with how often you have touch points with your followers. It costs more to attract a new customer than it does to keep an old one.
Say What You Do, Do What You Say
Each of your actions or inactions carries significance in someone else’s day.
By being consistent and showing your readers and followers their next step to success is to guide them to check out your ezine for tips and strategies for an invitation to work with you personally. This action show’s you are committed to quality customer service.
The getting to know you stage is the introduction to you and how much access your potential client will have to you. The decision is made by the client to get off the highway, take the off-ramp and do a little sight-seeing. Your client is asking these questions:
1. “Do I stay”?
2. “Do I go”?
3. “How much will it cost me”?
4. “Will I get results”?
So, of course you want to be a good host, you welcome your customers into the family, answer their concerns, provide healthy food and drinks and as a bonus you provide a value bag of goodies to go. This is what it means to be committed to your customers needs, no matter what.
Build your business brand on your customers not on the bottom line profit.
Must #4- Work Hard, Play Hard!
Designing an online business for the sustainable long haul requires lots of hard work and strengthening muscles you probably haven’t used.
Then there’s figuring out how all the pieces of the internet puzzle pieces fit together. Building your personal brand is going to take a bunch of time at first but it’s worth it to be able to have a business that provides the freedom, time, and lifestyle choices that impacts your family, the world and changes lives.
Just like in life there are seasons in business one travels through. Each season requires a new plan, system, strategy, and new rules to play in the game of business.
To “crush it” means you’re branding yourself as a leader in your niche. It’s easy to love what you do so much that all sense of time passes by.
This is why building a brand around your passion is so important. If you LOVE what you’re doing, then you will enjoy the planning to profits process and actually thrive on pulling the weeds. So, let’s put on our gardening gloves and get ready to plant the seeds in your business garden. Don’t forget to celebrate your hard work!
Must #5 Power-Up your Potential-Become an Expert
How do you stand out from the crowd so you have raving fans that can’t wait to do business with you.?
By putting your heart and soul into learning all you can about your niche. Researching the trends of what is hot or not and listening to what your followers pain is makes you the “Go To Person” that people turn to for information in your industry.
To become an expert in your niche you need to claim your expert status and shout it to the world. The more you know about your topic you’ll be able to design your products and services to add value to your clients.
Experts are always learning. They invest in furthering their education by learning from the best of the best in their field. Experts don’t think twice about the investment of time and money involved when they hire their own mentor or coach. To be on top of your expert game the investment means a ROI of desired outcomes. Your expert status pays for fast track RESULTS, just what your clients benefit from when they work with you.
Experts also play a bigger game by LEVERAGING the talents, skills, knowledge of others and causes that are bigger than themselves.
Must # 6- Be Personable
Heart-centered leaders pay attention to what and when the readers comment on blog posts, emails, twitter or ask to be liked on Facebook. Follow-up is KEY!
We connect in the playground of social media for a reason. It’s about building and nurturing relationships that have a meaning in our lives. A part of building relationships is hanging out together and conversing about the things that matter. With technology changing the way our world does business one could easily be one phone call from the president of the United States. Being personable means having a lifeline to people of influence who are world changers.
The brands that GIVE, GIVE, GIVE that personal touch and show a genuine concern for all humanity make it possible for all players to WIN at the game of life and leave no one left out. People are attracted to people that are enthusiastic and walk the talk.
When you give of yourself to others your blessing comes back and multiplies in ways that are not seen or felt. Windows and doors open with opportunities, relationships flourish, and everyone WINS.
Only ONE idea, ONE step, ONE voice, ONE business, ONE determined UNSTOPPABLE leader can change the course of the world. Is that YOU!
Must #7- Be a Legacy Leader
In these economic times people take for granted that our world will be here forever. Too many people world-wide are suffering with no food, water, refrigerator, bed to sleep on, or a place to call home. Even with a planet full of suffering there is a crisis of too much greed and a lack of stewardship of the wealth.
While the world is taking of our natural resources faster than they can be replenished there is the power in ONE that we can all participate. Look around where you live and see if someone needs a smile, a kind deed, conversation, a laugh, or a hand up.
It’s the simple things in life that matter and what people remember about YOU. Some of the best conversations with people I have had in my life have been where there are no words spoken, just being together, being still, and touching each others heart.
What you have to give back to the world someone needs and wants your touch. Won’t you take the moment to care.
