FanPageEngine 4.0 (Hubze) Facebook Timeline App Creation Video by Raena Lynn

Spread the love

Create your own Facebook Timeline Apps for your business page, build them by using Hubze FanPageEngine 4.0. It’s the way to go!

The Facebook Fan Page is now called the Facebook Business Page and you can create apps for your page many different ways. My favorite and easiest is using fanpageengine 4.o by Hubze.

This is my demonstration of how to create your own applications for your Facebook Timeline Business Page. I started with version 1.0 the Hubze iFrame engine. Since then, there has been a lot of changes and improvements.

A special shout out to David Foster and Scott Ayres for their dedication to developing an awesome product!

Awhile ago I did a demonstration for version 1.0 and the improvements are tremendous! If you are interested in learning more about the FanPageEngine, then click on the link below:

NOTE: All editing can be done in either the 4.0 or Timeline editor. Those are the tabs seen in the product list. The black tab is the 4.0 editor that I used for the tutorial. Publish it in the Timeline editor to be sure all social media works correctly…hope that makes sense.

      Hi Lilach,

Thanks for stopping by. Hubze is great so check them out. I am very curious about your post called “16 tools to make awesome Infographics.” They are everywhere and I really like them, so I find just the title enticing! I will visit your blog and check it out!

Hi Raena, fab video – Hubze is now on my radar. Thanks for letting me know it’s now a business page and not a fan page – I can’t keep up with it all :)

I understand the new changes, however, there’s no REAL explanation to what will happen to one of the oldest account types (ProPlus). I’ve taken a closer look into 4.0 earlier today and it doesn’t provide the flexibility that 3.0 does for me. Is there something different they have planned for ProPlus members?

      Hi Amrik,

I am a Pro Plus member and the best I can do to answer your question is that I created tabs from the original iFrames, and I still have them. I think David Foster and Scott Ayers are sensitive to that. I also want to tell you that your web site and blog is excellent. I recently discovered it because of TSA and I highly recommend it. Thanks!

  4. Hi Reana,

It’s my first time to your blog. Nice meeting you.

I’ve never heard of Hubze. I tell you there so much stuff out there it’s hard to keep up and find the time for everything :) Thanks for this video tutorial, it looks interesting. I’ve got to check it out!

      Hi Sylviane,

Nice to meet you too! Hubze is a great place to stay on top of anything Social Media. Of course there are other huge Social Media sites like Mashable but I happen to be a Hubze fan. Adding apps to your business page is actually fun. I’m glad you liked my video. Thanks for following me on Pinterest!

  5. You make this actually seem like a manageable task, Raena.

I’m not a techie sort at all and I’d have been scared to death to start messin’ with my FB page. But you really make it look like something i can handle.

Excellent tutorial, very clear and simple way to present a pretty complex subject.

      Hi David,

Thanks you for your nice compliments on the tutorial. Creating apps with this software is beyond manageable. The FanPageEngine works awesome with the new Timeline platform. There are free ways to create your apps, but I prefer the ease and continuity of using the engine. The techie stuff can really be a pain sometimes. It’s a matter of taking action, doing it, troubleshooting if something doesn’t work, going back and doing it again….and again….and sometimes again…!!! Finally you will get the result you are looking for.

      Hi Kostas,

It’s great to see you stop by! I want to tell you how much I enjoy Opportunities Planet! I love the ease of FanPageEngine and sharing it to others will help them when the time comes. There are free ways to create your apps, but I like the time saved, uniformity, and ease.

  7. This is great Raena! I have an account with them, but I removed the tab from my FB page at the time of the change to the new timeline format. I’ve been so busy haven’t had a chance to go back and check out the new things at Hubze. What’s great about the timing is I’m in the process of building a new FB page for my books so I think I’ll focus on setting up a new tab for that! Thanks for the inspiration!

  8. Hi Raenalynn. I enjoyed this video very much. I have gotten very frustrated with Facebook because they are always changing things. I have even felt myself reluctant to go there. It’s good to find posts like this that can help me overcome ‘Facebook Anxiety Syndrome’. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

    All the best,
    Leslie

      Hi Leslie,

This post shows an easy paid way to do it. There are other ways to accomplish the task free, however, I prefer the ease of using this type of software to get the job done and actually have fun doing it rather than being frustrated. When Facebook changes, I always see it as their way to improve the platform. So far, that is exactly what they have done. The Timeline platform has so much more possibilities for your business! The apps are like having 4 to 12 mini websites on your page! How awesome is that?

    Raena,

Great video — very clear and easy to understand and covers all the important points. My only question is what happens when you stop paying the $27 per month, which is the cost of one of their plans? What happens if you stop paying the monthly fee?

Thanks so much for sharing a potentially great resource for Social Media Marketers!

      Hi Jim,

Thanks for the nice review. Hubze changed their access. Yes, the NEW page builder app (FanPageEngine) is now $27/mo. When you stop paying, your pages would go offline. I hope that answers your question. It is up to you to decide if it is worth it.
