David Gilks “The Solo Ad King”

David Gilks has been one of my partners since the inception of our Mastermind Partner Program in 2011. David has been an excellent model for me this past year, and a great coach recently with helping me put together my first solo ad. David is unique because he excels in a way that many marketers fail. David is consistent, persistent, and kind. He has a sincere desire to help people succeed and get results in their marketing efforts. There are many times I would simply ask a question and David is always there to lend a solution.

David is an expert with solo ads, and recently he helped me step by step to create my first solo ad. He took something that seemed complicated and presented it in a simple way so I was able to post my first one from start to finish with great results. I’m convinced that solo ads are stellar marketing methods and David’s example and results motivated me to dive in and do it! He was one of the first in our group to experiment and take the risk of placing solo ads, and some of us were reluctant. But he persevered and got to a point where he is generating income for him and his family and is on his way to a 6-figure income.  David is a loving father, husband, and entrepreneur. He is now coaching others in list building so they do not have to take as much of a risk or loss. David has spent this past year refining the “art of list building.” and now he is sharing it with others. I would seriously recommend you to take a look at his new product, Lightning List Building.

Although David is across the globe, (he lives in Perth, Australia)  I feel he is a great partner and friend and I truly believe that David Gilks will be one of the top internet earners in our industry because he is unselfish and giving with no underlying agenda. He is very humble, yet extremely knowledgeable with the technical aspects of list building, word press, video marketing, and solo ads.  If you are at a stage to build your list, or create solo ads, then connect with David because he will help you. He is the “solo king!”

Hi Marquita,

Adrian gave a great explanation. In addition, a solo ad is essentially a follow up email sent to another marketer’s email list. Ads are purchased by the number of “clicks” an email receives (500, 1K, 10K, etc.) Most marketers prefer to write their own emails to their lists. It is a very effective way to market!

Marquita, a solo ad is an email ad distributed to the subscribers to an opt-in newsletter and published alone, without any other ads, articles, news, etc.

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for stopping by. Yes, if you are not trying to generate leads or build a list, then this post probably wouldn’t be that useful for you. However I appreciate you seeing the value to others. I see you a lot on Pinterest. Love your pins!

Hi Michael,

I’m really starting to love solo ads. They are fast and furious, but with the right lists, can be very profitable. David is really good at solo ads and he just released his first product. He shows you everything he does with his campaigns. He has reached the 500 leads a day mark which is very impressive. If you have a chance to check it out, I would highly recommend it.

Hi David,

David won’t be new for long! He really is an amazing guy as I described in the post. I think the main reason he is on his way to pure success is his sincerity to help others. Thanks for your comments!

Hi Alicia,

Solo ads are just one method of marketing, but I will tell you that it is the way most of the top earners promote their products. You can start out small and scale up and there are no guaranteed results, but the numbers will work for you. Thanks for stopping by!

Thank ou Raena Lynn for this share!

I had one experience with solo ads that was not so good because I found out their alexa rate was not high enough.

Would you agree that we have more chances to have people signing in our add if the solo ad is targeted?
For example my target market is solo professionals women that want to improve life balance issues and the solo ad campaign I tested was not targeted.

Thanks for your input and great share presenting us David here.

Patricia, the solo ads and the “alexa rate” are not related in any way and the result of a solo ad campaign cannot be influenced by Alexa rankings.
