Squeeze Page Creation In A Few Minutes

Squeeze page creation using Optimize Press can be very simple.

If you are a beginner and following a step by step guide including a quick “How To” video it is easy to do. If you are a beginner and following a step by step guide including a quick “How To” video which you may use to create a very simple squeeze page makes it easy to do. The intent is to show  the main features of Optimize Press. It does not include a per-headline or anything fancy. It’s purpose is to show the overall simple capability of what you can do with the software.

I am a member of the Futuristic Marketing Alliance Team. For people who do not know what that is, Jonathan Budd and Mark Hoverson launched an incredible product called Futuristic Marketing. We are “students” using the software…but there are games called alliance games which includes teams of 7 to do particular tasks in different levels. There are 8 levels and we are on level 8. It takes a lot of work, but our team is in 4th so far. The winners will be on stage at the Unstoppable Millionaire 2 which will be held in San Diego on November 16-19th.

One of the phases includes creating a two to five minute “How To” video so I decided to do a quick tutorial showing how to create a very simple squeeze page using Optimize Press which is a WordPress theme that allows you to customize your own capture pages. You may save your draft as you go along until you get to the end for a final draft. You have the option to bold your fonts if you prefer and do further formatting. This demonstration is bare bones. When you are happy with it, publish it and Optimize Press will create a URL for your squeeze page.

Step 1-Log in to Optimize Press

Step 2-Scroll down the left hand side to pages, click, select Add New

Step 3-Title-Capture Page Demonstration

Step 4-Look on the left hand side, scroll down to templates, select squeeze page 4 for this demonstration

Step 5-You will be populating only two sections of the software, the main posting area which is the upload/insert area (posting area) and individual squeeze page options located below the main text area. Each section has a plus sign which will open when it is clicked. Scroll below the posting area to squeeze page options. The first one to open is headline options (squeeze). Click on the plus sign and there are 4 tabs. The only one you will use is Headline. Click on the headline tab. Type or paste your headline. Sample:
“25 y/old Australian self-made millionaire now accepting partners, to help grow his company to $20 million and beyond…”

Step 6-Click on Overall Squeeze Page Settings, the first tab in the squeeze page section. Select Arial, Arial, and Red Arrow Bullet.

Step 7-Type or Paste your bullets in the main posting section. Be sure they are spaced. Click the bullets button icon above the posting area.

Sample Bullets:

  • How it works: I’ll give you proven tools and
resources I’ve developed over these past 4 years,
    to go find leads.
  • You put these leads into “IM Revolution” and
collect 90% commissions on all initial products
sold, PLUS commissions of up to $1,200.00 for
additional, higher-end programs sold by my
    team to YOUR leads.
  • This  guide- called ‘IM Revolution’- will
explain everything you need to know.

Step 8-Click on Opt-in Squeeze Page Form Options-Customization

Step 9-Select Opt In Box Arrow

You know I’ve bookmarked this right? :) Can’t wait to get my info so I can build my squeeze pages with Optimize Press. Purchased last night. Anyway, can’t wait. Thanks for the lesson. Great info and much needed for newbies to squeeze pages like me. :)
Thanks Raena.

Hi Barbara,

We need to get together so I can show you a couple of things which will really help you with your squeeze pages. When you are beginning to get into the online marketing world, you will bump into technical issues. It really gets better after you get through the learning curve.

Well that was a great presentation Raena because I’ve never used Optimize Press. I’ve heard it’s a really great program and you just showed in your video how easy it is to do. I love all those drop down choices that they give you.

At least now I know who to come to if I ever decide to use this software and run into any problem. Bit my tongue right!

Good luck with the contest and being in 4th is awesome. I’ll be rooting for you.

Hi Adrienne,

I was posting to Sue about how great Optimize Press is to customize your squeeze pages, however in my opinion, it could use some updated features. There are a lot of new and very good squeeze page software programs and plugins that have been recently launched. I would love to get all of them and do a review. I’m not an affiliate for any of them, including Optimize Press, so I could give an unbiased opinion. Whatever you decide to do, you can always ask me questions anytime if you need help…I doubt it, but anytime new software comes into the picture, there are tech issues which can be resolved quickly if you ask someone who is actively using the program. As to the Futuristic Marketing Alliance Team, we are very proud to be in 4th position. We have worked VERY HARD, and it has been worth it…but all of us may be running out of steam! Thanks!

Hi Raena

Congratulations on being in 4th place. Good luck with the whole contest very exciting. I know how hard you have been working.

Thanks for the tutorial. Like Adrienne I have never used Optimize Press but have been hearing about it for a while. It is always good to see a demonstration like this.

Hi Sue,

Thanks Sue,

The games are not over yet but we will probably stay in 4th which I think is grand! I like Optimize Press, however there are some other programs that are coming into the marketplace. I’m checking out a couple of others. Regardless, the point is to not be afraid of creating your own, if you need to build a sales funnel. I would avoid free capture page sights because they are not very reliable and there is no customization. Optimize Press is a wonderful product, but honestly it can use some feature updates. It is a great place to build your skills.

You are always so good about explaining even the most technical (to me) procedures Raena. I haven’t had the opportunity to set up a squeeze page yet, but I can see that it’s an area I will likely be exploring in the future, so this post is very well timed. Optimize Press certainly seems like a useful tool, so I’ve made a note of it in my reference guide for future use. Thanks!

Hi Sylviane,

Thanks for you kind words. I enjoy creating tutorials and I love to hear that you found some value. It’s a great product, but I have been telling some of my readers that I would like to see some new features. There are so many new squeeze page creators surfacing, the folks at Optimize Press may have to step up their game!

I am saving this as a fav on Twitter and plus 1 ing it! Is 1 ing a a word?

Hi Garen,

The version I demonstrated in the post is actually the theme version of Optimize Press. There are plugins which can do similar things. The features you get depends upon how much of an investment you want to make. I really like Optimize Press because of the customization, however as this post was published, there have been several releases of other products which you should look into if you prefer a plugin platform. Good luck on your epic book! Thanks for the shares.

Hi Garen,

There are several plugins to create squeeze pages. One that I am reviewing is called Instabuilder. There is another called Word Press Squeeze Page Plugin, however I’m liking what I see with Instabuilder. You don’t need as much technical skills like Optimize Press and it is a plugin, not a theme. You can Google it for the sales information. Hope this helps!

Hello Reana,

You step-by-step tutorial is so easy to study and follow. I’ve book-marked this page to visit it later.

Thank you for sharing this valuable information. It is well known that list building is very key for every business so a squeeze page is a MUST-HAVE. And one should be in position to make their own customizable squeeze pages.

Thanks again,

Ruthida.

Hi Ruthida,

We met through the Top 50 Blogs Contest:) Thank you for your vote and it was a pleasure to visit yours. Hopefully my tutorial will be helpful for you if you decide to create your own squeeze page. I mentioned to someone earlier that although I use Optimize Press, there are other alternatives out there which are quite incredible and user friendly. When I purchased OP, it was considered the “standard” however, things have changed. Let me know if you need any help. Have a great holiday season!
